Topic :  You Are Born Of God ( You are so Special)

Text :  John 3:16, 3:5, 1 John 4:4, 5:4-5

What is the meaning of being born of God?

John 3:16 says,  For God so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son (Jesus Christ) to us, that whosoever believe in Him shall not perished, but have everlasting life. To be born of God means To be Born Again ( To Accept Christ as your Lord and Saviour)

Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  John 3:5.

Being born of God is also the assurance of being a candidate of heaven.

The Bible says, For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world - our faith.
I John 5:4

It is a plus for any man whose father has distinguished himself and has gained recognition. This is a very good leverage. Such a man can easily get a job just by the mention of the father's name. Here we are talking about an earthly father. Compare this to having God as our Heavenly Father.

"You are from God... and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world." 1 John 4:4

He is the Almighty God and the Creator of the whole earth. If you are born of Him, (that's if you know God, if you are Born again) then, you have a better leverage.

King David recognised this and said in Psalm 68:19, “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation!" If you are born of God, you have benefits on a daily basis. You have also overcome the world through your faith.

Do not allow any situation in life to make you depressed nor frustrate you, because God has given you power over all.

"Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you. Luke 10:19

What you need to do is to Pray and give God quality praise over that depressing situation because you are not stranded.  You have overcome.
